Why does a girl embody all that can be good in this world?

Love, kindness, comfort, safety, existence, beauty

But at the same time they are

troublesome, confusing, insecure, inconsistent


in between they are human, like anyone else.

Have you ever wished you were a memory in the back of some special person's mind?

That way, at least, you would know they loved you once and that it had been real even if the memory of you was not.

I never feel more alive than I do during sunset. When the sun is dipping below the horizon and the sky melts from fiery hues to a velvety maroon, you can grab ahold of time's very pulse and feel it racing by. In that liminal stage of day, time moves fast, so fast I feel I could live an entire life if I just count my heartbeats for as long as I can hold my breath.
